This ‘moving to the country’ is getting out of hand
The city has it all, where supply meets demand
Each block has a deli
Enough to fill a belly
And that’s what we call ‘living off the land’!...

White House has become,
A mad house as well as a
Huge nightmare for sure.

Cliffs of Dover Horn Haiku
Cliffs of Dover Horn Haiku

This is kind of about North Korea.

Play death on demand
Thing is getting out of hand
And was poorly planned.

His name was Say Who
Accepted their point of view
Was killed that is true.

So who may be next?
Causing us to be perplexed
Sent message of text.

North has no clover
So should do a flyover
But Cliffs of Dover?

Grass Blades
Suddenly, skin slits. . . . .
My fingers are bleeding – ew…
I taint the grass – and it smells like strife’s
(Close at hand)

Out of the blue, blades
Shred my once beloved hopes
Red grass cools me off
(Things are getting out of hand)

And THEN… the oceans
Overhead glitters and swirls
With awesome creatures
(Things are working out just fine)

Restlessly, mind plays
With fire and I’m fired…ooohh…
And I climb for my life – I laugh hard
(What a relief)...

Nurture
Born to repeat
Mistakes of my tree
Inspired by survival
Pain is free

In or out
Of this lottery
My family is growing
With others just like me

Protect the turf without hesitation
Watch your back no matter what the situation
Stand and deliver without guarantees
Your life is precious despite the disease

Sharp extensions to every hand
Navigation is treacherous through my land
Life is cheap, like a grain of sand
My traumatic living is getting out of hand...

I'm settled from my head to my toes
But my heart beats out an SOS
My brain picks up the message
But it's undecipherable, muddled
Clearly a distress signal
But the brain can scan
My body and surroundings
There is no cause for alarm
... --- ...
Stop, there's no cause for alarm!

Explain yourself!

Premium Member A Red-Blooded American Responds
Forgive me for feeling the need to say
I am neither a Communist nor a Nazi,
I’m a red-blooded American who served
My country in the U. S. Air Force, and,
I have always stood up for what’s right,
And, when bullied, I am up for the fight.
Divisiveness here is getting out of hand,
And probity is not at all being observed
Even hinting that I am a Nazi is crazy!
Forgive me for feeling the need to say.
