Beautiful

Beyond mortal beauty and radiance
Ethereal magnificence and elegance,
Awed by finesse, poise and grace
Uniquely refined with angelic face
To enchant me with her sensuality
Ingenuity, tenderness and geniality
Flair to blend romance and musicality—
Unabashed, LOVE came into my dreary life
Laden until now with sorrow and strife.

Teenage Love

First day at college,
Encounter with a girl,
Gazes are exchanged,
Heart pounds,
Clock ceases to move,
Nothing happened further,
Goes back home and ruminates with a hidden smile,
Love is so pure and beautiful,
Everything turns fresh,
Even dark passenger makes way for geniality,
Aloofness takes the back seat,
Sweet dreams are aplenty,
Everything was near perfect until,
Mother exclaims, Wake up! It is 6 o'clock.

Chasing illusions ephemeral
Betraying conscience
Dormant inner sentience
The life thus lived delusional

Outer appearance
Age and gender
Social status & colour
Immaterial for innocence

Balancing endowed polarity
Flowing in loving gentleness
Detached nonchalant awareness
Embracing one & all in geniality

All we choose to do is doable
If we choose to walk upon the path
Each moment a holy sabbath
To behold in renewal Gods miracle

Thoughts of You

In the silent night
When the cold wind lends an ear
And the skies wait to hear
The call of the night crickets.

That time of the night
When the stars gather in troupes
 to watch over the earth

I close my eyes
And imagine your voice
The geniality of your words
Summons my thought to a stand still.

Till my pastel eyes decline into drowsiness
My emotions hum your name.
Even in my sleep,
I am still a slave
For your name rules my dream
