Your Pictures From Aeon
I still find beautiful pictures of you
Painted on my frail heart.
One, two, maybe three but not few,
Hanging beneath its wounded parts
Daily blurred further by nostalgic tears.

Your voice re-echoes  
Like fired cannons,
It haunts worse than geckos
Peeping through dark shadows from aeon.

The diabolical Geckos were plotting
While our fall leaves were rotting
Yes there was some spotting
On those leaves that were rotting

But this is the crazy most maniacal ridiculous thing

I knew what turmoil this might to our kingdom bring

Why don’t geckos sink into the sand
Disappearing into the promised land?
What saves their Arizona lives? What keeps them up?
The flaps in between their toes said my Uncle Hup.

I thought he was joking, because he is a funny guy
So, I looked it up in my gecko book which was way up high
He was exactly right, my uncle, with his goofy laugh
Now I am researching the gopher and the giraffe...
