The world will oft her dreamers slay,
Those souls whose hearts breathe far away
From things beheld by common eye,
For gardened hearts seem first to die.
Country bumpkin heading to school.
Passing through a town's neatly gardened symmetry.
Glimpse how other half lives.

I gardened all day
so exhaustion would set in
It worked too, but fast....
Do I have time to post my poems on a website?
I doubt that I have the capability.
My eyes are barely keeping open.
I've gardened and read
I wrote poetry in my head
I picked up all the clippings
And everything red.
Time now to nap
And dream dreams far away
Of my true love
My one love
And a light house....
There once was an old poet who gardened
Until she found something bad there hardened
A rattlesnake with raised fangs
Eye to eye combat with gangs
Snake go to the woods for you are pardoned
forgot to tell you
i gardened naked one day
gentle misting rain
thinned out salad greens
planted them where scotch bonnet
was on the end row
just me in rain boots
the chickens were embarrassed
dog just laughed out loud
Lovely, happy hair,
Rowed, and growing in beauty;
God’s sweet locks I bear:-
Hued as is the night,
Moonlight beauty reflecting
Ebony delight:-
Locks admired so much,
Gardened rowed short or shouldered,
Just got to be touched.
God makes no mistakes;
Creating natured beauty,
Whatever hue takes:-
Mirror check and see,
The blooming beauty of thee,
And gracefully be:-
I come from Dawn to Night's long mile
Whose boyhood heard the songs of brooks
And mourned the sparrow's falling,
And Hope, those days did lift my wings
As lone I strode the gardened fields
Of honied labyrinth...
Apart, apart! In Ever-Dream,
My bliss found full at giants feet-
Enthralled, bewitched at Sky's orations
Or what forests deep did tell...
And now the Day's long-bearded trek
But to endless shade proceeds...
Hunger not satisfied, materialism fried
unending search in depths, philosophies sketched
Psyche gardened terrain, sovereignty a sweet cane
ancient cultures in cells, memory can be hell
indigenous wisdoms, all achetypes are prisms
suffering is fresh springs, inner calm it duly brings
knowing that all storms pass, grounding ascension class
when planet leaps the cusp, old souls jump in trust thrust
