the eristic fundamentalist
strives to impose his view
oblivious to the stark truth
that pulsates beyond mind
aglow in cave of his heart

false is imagined knowing
what matters is becoming

the flame

A quiver
In thy shadow
O hedonic fundamentalist
Corporate machine
Democracy thy logo
Christian right
Of sway
Bow now
To thine mad
Golden calf
Fat on war born dollar
And Roundup ready
To takeover
This cow eat cow world

Affirmations insistent,
in truth make us resistant,
because love employs no force,
so why then cry ourselves hoarse?

Our heart, not mind, does capture,
thunder of bliss borne rapture.
To perform a true soul scan,
do we need a middleman?

Fundamentalist Morality

Morality is morality, there's no ifs
Or buts about it, either you obey
Rules or you throw them aside.
Always for each transgression
Lies a matching retribution.

For every seed that you sow
Is a grain waiting for reaping,
Be it a good one or otherwise.
Exceptions are not options,
Row your boat...or you sink.

Political correctness prevails
words dissemble & dissimulate,then
lose their meaning in semantic sounds.
Decadent hedonism,attired in faded
blue jeans,with fundamentalist fury
points its finger here,there everywhere
and for the past apologises yet…. fails,
Alice in Wonderland has
come to pass, but can never last.

The Earthy Habitat 4

some light of the former birth
glitters on the hand-fan
made up of palm-leaves

do the child boats of the pigeon-pea flower
go to them to learn the fountain

all over the room
the cobweb of fundamentalist spiders

the toy-train breaks the water colour
to run towards the oil-colour

and on both sides of its travelling route
there are so many advertisements
of tooth-paste

Premium Member What Goes Around

what goes around...

human bombs wait with fundamentalist patience
to wipe us from the earth as infidels
for polluting paradise

shocked disbelief rises like smoke from 911
hovers over ticky tacky boxes
morning coffee,
last night's discarded
plastic wrapped
lost generation
all for the flush

spindizzy in a clock-wise vortex
stare out through a green dollar haze
and miss the point again

HUMPTY DUMPTY LAND
Political correctness prevails
words dissemble & dissimulate
lose their meaning as the Mad
Hatter’s manor rules and reigns,
and Humpty Dumpty’s semantics sound.
Decadent hedonism,attired in faded
blue jeans,with fundamentalist fury
points its finger here,there everywhere
and for the past apologise yet…. fails,
forgetting today can never be
yesterday. Alice in Wonderland has
come to pass, but can never last.

The Child In a Fundamentalist Family

Why was I a puppet?
For my parents views,
For their animosity,
To my teachers’ dues.

They even exposed hatred,
To the Jews cultural,
Not with understanding,
Of things traditional.

They asked me if I wished to,
Sing secular songs in music,
Along with the class,
‘Cos I would wear a different tunic.

But I just went quiet,
And didn’t really answer,
Because singing was just that best,
And made me into a prancer.

Conversation With My Mum

(When I was four)

Me: “I’d like an apple, please?”

Mum: “Why would you like an apple?“

Me: “Because I’m hungry.”

Mum: “The question is not whether you’d like an apple, but whether or not God wants you to.”

Going all the miles
Too young to travel,
Not able to construct,
A policy to unravel,
Christian fundamentalism,
The Catholic cry of the fundamentalist mum,
The voice of parent sinner,
Against the education of the tum.

The Other Three Flying Birds

(Chuckie Egg)

It was just so right that the other three flying birds,
Were golden yellow just like the caged hysterical one,
Because their plight was as pure as the caged bird,
And because the caged one has many friends, fun.

Being an atheist child in a fundamentalist family,
Meant that I could relate to other such kids, friends,
That I used the phone very secretly, the bill/anomaly,
Which entitled and allowed us to make our own ends.
