The Wall

Stopped up
I hit a wall

I think I know you
Your just another trap

You make me mad
Stop shutting me out

I see you again
Your so much friendlier than your flat friend

Lean on me
I will hold you up

A rattta tat tat
You call me a cab

Its hard to leave you
I will be back

Sunny Days

Sunny days are greater days!
Days of absolute peace and kind gestures,
Emanating from the soul within.

Sunny days are brighter days!
Snuggly warmth for the burdened mind,
Relieving the spirit from consternation and pain.

Sunny days are friendlier days!
Lofty gifts from the beaming sun,
Shining its rays on all earth’s entities.

Oh, Maggie-Jo Sparks, my basset hound
The best of the houndom breed
A friendlier pooch cannot be found
You are a grand ol' gal indeed!

Oh, oh Maggie-Jo you should be crowned
Queen of the Canine Race
With every terrier and spaniel around
Bow wowing your noble grace!

Premium Member My Knees Don'T Like Me

My knees don't like me very much
Right now I don't like them.
They use to be much friendlier
When I stayed fit and trim.

You don't give up on friends because
They've maybe gained some weight
But mercy me , if I was a three
They'd take me on a date.

I want them to remember
To think real long and hard
Replacement's in the future
So I'd not go overboard.

A He I'Ll Never Be

A frame like Brad Pitt Delights tea and sips Dressed in style fashion An everyday cat passion A yoke that is equal A giver at its best Confidence his key Only active he`ll be An all around go-getter And all the more friendlier What more can she ask For an answer right at her A person I can’t be For how I’m made as me I`ll only cut at a quarter Of whom I`ll never be

Home Is Where the Heart Belongs

Some say “East or West home is best”. They regard
their birthplace like Mecca to Muslims, or Jerusalem to Jews.
Food tastes better, air is much more refreshing, people friendlier,
wines warmer…. Life outside their homes is less than they expect,
like training yourself to take tea with less sugar.
For me, I think Home is where the heart belongs. A place you can feel
free to be who you really are.

Our mind is lighthouse
Capturing land sea sky with
All of life's runways

Our mind is like sponge
With its filtering system
That's alive like us

Our mind is labyrinth
Much more friendlier than foul
By grace from the Source

Our mind is structure
Of a hospital with church
And revolving door

Our mind is gateway
To heaven or hell on earth
And that is final.

Lonely robot wanted to make Planet V friendlier
He planted some seeds, hoping they would entice her.
The only female on the planet he had seen so far.
She was a gorgeous cosmonaut from X348 star.

Female came by and said I do not like flowers though
He was sad about it, for he had hoped to wow her so.
But I like you the cosmonaut told lonely robot guy.
She invited him on a date, and his heart leapt to the sky.

Premium Member Happy Birthday Linda-Marie

Your birthday arrives in the mild month of May.
You, like the fair month, are delightfully kind.
Your smile is as bright as young children at play.
A friendlier poet, we simply won’t find.
You’re firmly entrenched as sweetheart of our group,
The first to reach out when new bards join the soup.
May words ever come and your heart ever leap,
And your birthday be filled with blessings to keep.

People
By
J. A. Long

People are people regardless of
Ethnicity and history
Even in feeble steeples
During the Christmas season
Which is the coldest time In America

People are proverbial birds
In need of proverbial seeds
But are not interested in searching
For those seeds which are at proverbial bird feeders

People are all somewhat different
Some are friendlier than others
And some are more accepting than others
Even at Christmas time-be open to them
