soul’s resolve adapts
to imposed limitations
acceptance sets in
but the Phoenix yet stirs
holding steady focus
in stoic fortitude
awaiting resurrection
in timeless time
as ordained
Caught
As though magic has cast
A hex upon me
Hi-jacking my fortitude...
Dominating my senses.
And yet I dare not breathe....
Ravenous for more...
Fearing I might break the spell.
Formidable floundering frisky fish followed furiously,
Flogging fourteen flustered freshman froggies
Furious followers filed fine-tuning finesse
Frostily furthering fruitless froggy fortitude.
