At first...
          Cheerfully shared for liquid celebrations
           For all of the right reasons.

And then...
           Abruptly emptied to become a whine bottle
           For all of the wrong reasons....

There is nothing I am hoping for. 

There is not even anything I am waiting for. 

I no longer care about who I can trust. 

I suppose I must trust the first person who emerges from the fog. 

Even if they have been following me for the wrong reasons-

I would rather have a stranger by my side. 

I suppose I am numb to the pleas of my own family. 

Who now live just outside my memory....

reaching out for compassion,
there's no easy answers for a solution.
tired of blaming others;
wrong reasons for fighting,
too stubborn to listen.
your bad is their hurt,
too long to discuss.
shadows of shameful pride:
arguments at first sight,
last words of regrets and doubts,
leaving you with a frown,
there's no end to the wrong,
which brings more meaning to having patience.
not always waiting for the silence,
focus on what you've been through till the end....

the vultures have us
in their crosshairs

the lucky ones will get away
and crawl in empty nooks
under some random rocks

no pride just shame
their dignity belittled
till rendered null and void

sad little men stripped of their pride
self-respect lost in a ditch
somewhere along the way

hearts racing

in the rubble of mankind
