One For the Wise

Play two songs my friend
One for the wise
And one for fool, lend
Likewise
Hold two ears on your head
One for the wise
And one for fool head
By the wise,less talk
And by the fool, mind the talk
Also by the wise, wise up
and by the fool,fold up
It's as true and false
The words i say
That you grow not the worse

Spring Beckons

Fold up your long sleeves, shove knee socks drawered, mothball your thick coats, and back kick your boots - Spring's freedom now sings. Spring joys beckon all who lust her. Her fragrance wafts for barefoot gaits. New life peaks as Spring's prose touches skin. Spring mix - life gifts - Bliss!

Today, Tomorrow Or Some Other Time

have you ever felt
the drum
the hum
of your mind slipping way
like a thousand voices
talking at once
and all you want to do
is fold up and cry
and the silence strikes
at the same time
a wight sits on you chest
trying to stop your breathing
and you dream of
crawling in a hole and dieing
still you stand up
and fight the tears
everything subsiding
knowing your just have to do it again

Winter Tide

You fold up my heart, accordian style
You sink me an anvil or two
You tailor my blood to the scent of your skin
You call me and I answer you.

I'm spent by the sound of your footsteps
The trees flutter so nervously
The winter holds off 'till you kiss her and then
she puts summer to sleep gracefully.

I fall to the edge of the ocean
I wink to the starfish divine
You give me the gift of this chilled winter tide
I sink wishing you were still mine.

Come Morning Light

Night is falling ~ On the stars I'm calling.
I wish I may I wish I might.
Be with my love ~ COME MORNING LIGHT.

Fold up your tent ~ In the Arab night.
I wish I may I wish I might.
Wash the war paint ~ From your sight.

Lay sword and shield ~ By the river side.
I wish I may I wish I might.
Be with my love ~ COME MORNING LIGHT.

God bless your flight ~ In this dark night.
I wish I may I wish I might.
Be with my love ~ COME MORNING LIGHT.

Wet

Though umbrellas keep us dry,
I’d like to share a little tip –
Be real careful on the subway
‘Cause the wet ones like to drip.

They may create a puddle
On somebody else’s shoes;
Since the subway has some whackos,
You may have a lot to lose.

So when you’ve been in a downpour
And you board a bus or train,
Tightly fold up your umbrella
So nobody will complain.

If you don’t you may discover
Something that you will regret –
That a lunatic who’s dry
Is not as bad as one who’s wet!

Broken Glass

As I fold up my hands I see scars of life
A loop hole between fine and wrong
A mirror of tales of life
Written in plain sight engraved and embroiled
Stitch for a stitch life was given
And so with time hope was stolen
Just to surface my thoughts to you am no angel
i am just another broken man
A dreamer a man with no home
For no matter how much I tried to embrace life
My heart has always felt out of place
I dwell in confusion and mystery trying to crack the code of life

Live a Little

Enjoy every day
Cherish every breath you take
Listen to what your heart has to say
Learn from every mistake

Fold up the umbrella … feel the cool rain
Tear down that wall that took a lifetime to build
Let go of all of your pain
Warm up that heart that has been for too long chilled

Life is too short to be dark and depressed
Life has a way of working things out
Life is too short to be overwhelmed with stress
Stand up and face the world … show them what you are all about
