An elderly man is down.
A handful of helpers, 
on one knee
it looks bad.
I cannot get there,
I have to wait,
for the oxygen,
the first responders to

Then I had to push through
a group of concerned onlookers,
to reach over his prone body
for the peas....

Thus happiness you'll find 
After losing 'the love of your life' 

Firstly confidence is key
To find one who loves thee
If loving yourself is not learnt 
Then a partner shan't be earned
And opportunities shall be missed

Another is to accept
The memories are to forget 
Or you'll never move on
And recovery will be long
Crying over and over again......

Agonizing moments shift to fleeting hours.
Inner wounds and surface sores are doing fine.
Grieve not for days gone by when memory sours.
Standing on my own as sunlit kisses shine,
I thank God for His wondrous healing powers.

THE visitor denied a knock
upon the weathered oak
of my door.

of a person standing here
upon my floor.

His travels did surely age
such genteel features
and ancient eyes so brilliant!

Before great solidity I almost spoke

-- hush and listen to the voice!

The words were wisdom,
