A Lulaby

Hold me close
 little one
I will love you
 forever
 hold me close
 now
 hold me tight
 now
I will give you all you need
lay your head down
rest your eyes
 take a breath, little one
go to sleep, go to sleep
I love you
 little son.

Daddy

Kiss my booboos
Dry my tears
Be my hero
Through the years

Teach me lessons
Keep me safe
Help me develop
My own faith

I'm the princess
You're my king
Someday soon I'll
Get a ring

But I'm always
Daddy's star
Never will I
Go afar

For my Daddy

Dad

Our relationship is like a great treasure,
Listening to me so patiently is your best feature,
Your company gives me immense pleasure,
How happy I become no one can measure!

You’re a stress reliever,
I get new hopes and life becomes even brighter,
Our stupid talks fill the air with laughter,
How fortunate I feel to be your darling daughter!

Daddy

You always inspire,
To get the things I desire.
You support me to struggle,
Whenever I am in trouble.
You always have time,
To listen to thoughts of mine.
You taught me not to shed a tear,
When I was in fear.
You always showered love selflessly,
And gave me things endlessly,
How do I thank Almighty?
To bless me as your child, ‘Daddy!’

Simple Mottoes For Life

-

My Father used to say:

A shot to the mouth often offends

also

You can lead me by a silk but dont drive me with a stick

also only many issues e.g.

Don't say you worked down the coal mines for 27 years
when you had 25 years off in the middle.

also

Nothings bad that could that could not be worse

also

They'll eat them dry next time.

Father

your eyes are not my eyes
your blood does not run though my veins
you made me angry and at times i despised you
you taught me math and share your lunches
even brought me birthday presents
i fought with you i yell at you
 maybe i even admired you
your blood is not my blood
your face is not my face
your love is my love
and my love is your love
in my heart is where i hold you
for you are father

Father

Oh dear father, you are my inspiration,
In the city, and throughout the nation.
When life has brought me to the ground,
You are there to bring me back around.
When in need and want you here,
I am to know you're always near.
Through the hardships while feeling blue,
I know I can always count on you
To tend to me as you always do.
So when you want me to be snappy,
I'll be quick for my loving pappy.

Serenity

Swift, rushing, bubbling creek
Flowing to the gulf, cycle of life
Ebbing near with sounds of nature

Faint screech of an unrecognizable bird
Frogs croak, cool breeze across my face
Warm sunshine on my bare skin

Reminds me I am...
Alive for one, able to feel
Able to sense my environment

I see the beauty and am in awe
Many colors, many wildflowers...
Just for me this day!!

Dedicated to my Daddy (Tommy)

The Thought of You

When I think of you
I feel so blue
And wish I could hold you
I wish you were here
So I could have you near
To care for me so dear
I miss you everyday
And wish you could see me today
Then I'd jump up and say hurray
My hearts with you
For I'll never forget you
And love you so true
When I look up to the sky
Up there so high
And see you with a sigh
I know you're in my heart
So I don't fall apart
So I hold my heart

I Never Needed a Dad

Hey Dad, Look at me.
Am i what you expected?
Here I am, living life
The way you always rejected.

At peace with myself,
with my head in the sky..
My love on the shelf,
And I never said bye..

But that's fine, Cause guess what?
You left me first, dad.
And now you've been cut,
Don't you dare think you're sad.

Cause i can swear before God
you hurt me and mom more.
So take your pain, and your hurt,
and walk out the front door.
AGAIN.

All I Ever Wanted

All I ever wanted,
was to be loved by you.
Whenever I had a problem. .
just knowing that you were here,
always got me through.

When I was younger,
it never bothered me that I didn't
have some things that the other kids had;
because I had something that they didn't . .
I got to have you for a dad.

Since I've had time to think,
I suppose you loved me from the start.
After all, I was the baby you had chosen,
and had welcomed into your heart.

After My Father

I walk in your footsteps
Even though you are long gone
I see the path you have laid down for me
Even though you are long gone
I find secrets in your corner
That my mind does not want to comprehend
You tell me little stories
Even after you are long gone
Of journeys you wanted me to take
Of life's hopes for me
Long after you are gone

I have finally found you
When at last I thought
You did not care
My new found memories
Shall remain forever

Mixed Memories

I looked at you and smiled the other day
I thought you would see me but you didn't
I said i love you to say it back to me
I thought you would hear me but you didn't
I needed you to talk you my thoughts to share
I thought you want to but you didn't
When you raised your hand and hit me
I screamed for you to stop
I thought you'd hear me but you didn't
you never really ever listened to me dad

To My Father

Where did you go?
You left my life dim,
where have you been.
I tryed to keep in touch,
but you never gave me much.
Love is all I needed.
Happiness is all, I wanted.
You brushed me off,
like I was a nobody.
How could you do that,
to someone you used to call "your little girl".
We used to go fishing, hunting and more,
but now your just a bore.
At night I get week,
and cry myself to sleep.
Now you have a new family,
and you push me away.
Why do you treat me this way?

To My Father

Father I look up to you. I'm so sorry you were taken from me and we never knew each other. I wish you could of seen me grow into the man I have become. I wish you could be here to see me fall in love and make a family of my own. You and my mother were only 16 you were taken from her right after I came into this world. Sometimes I think I can feel someone watching me and I hope it is you. Words can't explain how much I love you and wish we could of known each other

Footsteps

I followed in your footsteps as you walked.
My small feet fit inside them.
You were big and strong like superman,
But you didn't scare away the monsters
That kept me awake at night.
Your voice,
Never the one to lull me to sleep
with stories of princesses and happy endings.
Emotions were hidden,
Forbidden to surface.
I used to sit and wonder,
What I had done for you to shut me out.
A little girl,
Trying to fit into a mans' world.
But my feet were too small,
And I was not a boy
