warmth of holding hands on trips evanesced
sunlight still bounces off of
those keepsake fridge magnets

Amid barking clouds death evanesced
fighting grieving hesitantly inclining
for justice keening for life moaning
not obeying only persevering
quarrel remaining, soul tearing…
And later that evening she sauntered
along the halls of the cathedral
with callous egoism jingling in her pocket
whilst chuckling of undiscerning humor
I know not the definition of such folly
though strangely I must attest that I weltered in rapture
When she evanesced with no concern for a colloquy

Once a rhyming heartbeat,
glowing pearl of my eyes,
With betrayal of trust
was taken into tears of regret,
As cascades of intense passion,
evanesced never to rise.

The ricefields at the
roadsides were gone.
I didn’t notice when
they started to fade.
I felt empty and sick,
as sad as dark dawn,
when I saw the flock
of teeny weeny birds,
chasing each other
going to the direction
where four squares
rice paddies located.
If green grains evanesced,
where should they go
to find food when even gardens
turned into buildings too?
Life plays a master role
In the breaking of a love
Muffled by prejudices
Covered with deceit
Chaser feeling evanesced
Healed with past of time
Conquering deep sorrow
Expressed with tears
Runner came regretful
Chasing back the chaser
Ignoring obvious signals
Sparks of love disappeared
Love starts by loving yourself
Accepting chaser to stay alone
Wedding bells arrived to runner
Finding his desired soul mate
Bits of pieces,
Scattered around,
To pick them up,
is what must be done,
Shifted about,
The broom sweeps,
What left underneath,
Is none of my concern,
Scoured away,
Evanesced by each beating minute,
Concealed far apart from my sight,
There is nothing to be noticed,
Cipher left behind,
Nullity lingers here,
Nothing was here,
Indifference, it never was.
