breaking free like fugitive drops,
from arrest to arrest,
gravity punishes inclination.
Mechanic, escarpment-teethed
it grinds the inconstant glass
of orbital fall, mental elipse,

leaps up, and on, out,
over, in, and through
trailing like a spray
