Spring Melt

The escarpment in spring is a beautiful sight Way above, I see the melting snow Travelling down a zaigzag course That Mother nature traces Like a little waterfall flowing to the bottom Running through a field, moving more rapidly Becoming one body , growing stronger Eventually reaching a stream

Lovely - I sense you live among mountains, and of course the stream would travelon to the sea.

hello Lisle Ryder, no I do not live among the mountains. I use to live in a quiant town for 10 years. My husband and i would walk to the Bluewater Park and stare at the water for hours. it was relaxing to watch the water. Have a nice day my friend.

Lush imagery paints this posh pastoral poem, Darlene. Any poem that uses the word " escarpment" is a winner in my book. Beautiful poetry, my dear friend. Love and joy always.
