Heat death from passion

Love’s infinite cliches glue me to this earth.
In the end, we are, yet, nothing but dirt.
For what it’s worth,
Entropic defiance is life’s tender hurt.
Form: Acrostic

'all the King's Horses'

Logic destroys the natural state,
as order rules the day

To tag and label, weigh and chart,
reality at bay

A poet in the truest sense,
I fall outside the lines

Entropic freedom calling me
—to all that I might find

As Wheels Fall Off

A simulated consciousness
beyond our will to choose
Defying Einstein, Bohr, and Hume
where logic stands defused

The matter at hand can’t matter
when rules unwrite themselves
An order once thought preordained
—entropic and indwelt

Looking Ahead

Looking back
the past in chains
Looking ahead

Looking back

Looking ahead

Looking back

There is only integrity
of time's potential,
regenerative
more life enlightening
than degenerative,
death darkening,
disintegration
entropic,
absence of integrity.

There is only health
of Earth's potential,
regenerative wealth
more empowering
than impoverishing, punishing
diseased,
uneased,
absence of ease,
nonviolent spirited peace
restoring spiraling natured justice.

Listen to poem:
We know yesterday
by the crumbs left on the cloth
and warmth in the chair—
the future leaves no such trace
until entropy arrives.

A dandelion
lets go of its clock-face sphere
to wander, unwind—
each seed wings on its own way
yet can't return to the stem.

Past is what remains
when patterns loosen their hold
on the shape of things—
time is counted by the drift
from gathered into what's more.
