Insanity triggers
Cerebral trip switch
Flickering light
Dissolving
In dark room
Walls collapsing
Silence ensues
Frivolous action,
begets random outcomes.
Heartache and despair ensue.
Reasoned action,
entails planned results.
Success ensues.
Heed your actions.
Dreams
visions
perceptions
from the corridors
of the mind a picture
takes shape, a story ensues
in the elusive world of dreams
garbing sizeable anguish, now
soul ensues prime bliss.

INSPIRE
In a glass darkly,
Newness ensues.
Swimming to the surface,
Planning to explode and
Inspire others to act.
Running to the light. An
Ending that is a beginning.
The blood drips from the page.
Intoxicating smell perforates, ensues.
Taking back again. Female apparatus.
Figment of an over zealous imagination.
A dream, fantasy personified.
He's all done
unwrapping
his requested gift
from Santa
and his face
explodes with bliss!
Shrieks and jumps
for joy ensues
He's on happy child!

Advil's my friend, good for what ails you
At old age, pains right down to my shoes
Shouldn't be allowed
Exempt from crowds
But no one escapes the ravages that ensues
Time to self-isolate for the next while
Be strong, make it through with a smile
Listen to the news
Be aware of what ensues
This WILL be beaten, it's surely our style!
Time is coming to grow enough food
Hydroponics must be employed for what ensues
Skyscrapers only for
Growing food every floor
Millions of pounds the shortage to defuse
Her voice it sooths
My untimely midlife blues
So far behind in
Keeping up with the Kardashians
It just seems
Reckless to talk about it
As her laughter ensues
All my life she renews
Autumn leaves
And on its heels
A savage wind
Hunts its offspring
Pursuing their faint scent
Riffling the golden fields
The curtain falls
A slow darkness ensues
The lights dim
In stillness
A lion's roar can be heard five miles away
Same as when a wife suspects a roll in the hay
The strong smell of booze
An investigation ensues
All hell breaks loose and things decay
Wherever it is
in lips meeting or a seat familiar
a familiar tune plays clear
this is home, it says
out of the rain
shelter comes and goes today
inevitability ensues
comfort is fleeting, only away
With days uncounted
the present gained
A fresh encounter
all time unnamed
A last breath drawn
to hold anew
Those new words spoken
—where truth ensues
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2018)
IF heart could encompass
The entire love of life
By sight, smell and mouth,
An attack of Heart and Soul
ensues.
Is the fabric of being human too;
and the compass confused!

Slowly but surely, we're muddling through
We'll make it to spring, I'm promising you
Won't be too long
We'll hear robin's song
And once again enjoy the laughter that ensues

Torn from our roots
The chaos ensues.
Broken from family,
The surface unravels.
From this revealed,
A new life emerges.
See the next forms
To sustain a new life.
Make art from chaos.
This is your life.
Thusly
A thought
The first letter
A sentence ensues
The paragraph develops
A chapter has been inscribed
The new story can be ascertained
A position on the bookshelf is reserved
The copywriter will never be discouraged
Lost in deep blue.
Stuck in a mood.
Find the sunshine.
What to choose,
A frame of mind.
Open new views,
Just so much time.
Go in win or lose.
Move on with style.
Whatever ensues.
Endeavor to peruse.

SELF
The word itself
Implies a limit..
When limit is applied
Freedom is lost..
And a search ensues
To find what was lost..
Many others are met
Billions perhaps
Also searching..
A tragedy until
A fortunate stumble
Reveals our SELF...
The eastern gale hath done us part,
Her blighting hale ensues;
‘Til death in brushes strokes its harp
Thy love is but a ruse.
The summer whale hath blown her hair
Across this lovesick sea;
‘Twas long ago I said to her
Make heavenly of me.

What does it mean,
To love You?
Which would this be:
Is it such, or untrue?
How may I wake,
To trust You?
What permeates?
My faith, destitute!
As aurum rightly shines,
For luster may come through:
I’d rather yield inside;
So, my prayer, ensues –
two hearts enraptured in love exchange vows
star eyes can’t see pass the day
hope indwells lovers’ hearts
ceremonious feast and dance ensues
two souls united in flesh
wedding celebration
