Premium Member It's All Relative

Did you know Albert Einstein married his cousin?
It's a topic that makes for interesting discussion.
And while it may engender some negativity,
it gives new meaning to the theory of relativity!

Present of Mind

I didn’t forget…
I don’t want to remember
What’s left on the table
where time had command

I didn’t forget…
I don’t want to engender
The past from the future
—the moment at hand

Woman Hides Man

In a woman such a man hides;
Alike, He rimes better with She.
More sense, She makes with He.

Because she embeds him;
He always consults she,
To produce clear sound;
And engender one great power in unity.

Poem by Mugisho N Theophile

Conversations With Animate Earth

You fill my lungs
Igniting brain and bellows
You rush through these veins
Providing the pulse of experience
You set these bones to motion
Drawing desire to summit your peaks
When I lie down deep to recieve the earth
You wash me with love to engender peace

Calm Down

Anger is a lone emotional state --
ultimately narcissistic, like hate.

Emotions spark empathy in the gut
even frustration, after a fashion,
can generate genuine concern but
anger does not engender compassion.

It’s as obvious as the reason why
the lyrics of rap never make one cry.

Thin Veils of Pretence

Pretence at sacrifice concealed in a translucent veil as inverted altruism soon comes unstuck as its perfidy wears thinner and thinner to engender amazement, bewilderment, embarrassment and bemusement.

Shunt aside gifts to the
ego you flatter day and
night to blight your own life.

Quite a cumbersome ball and chain;
Regrets are best left in the past.
They engender headache and pain.
Quite a cumbersome ball and chain.
Don't keep them; there's nothing to gain.
The sting of regret never lasts.
Quite a cumbersome ball and chain;
Regrets are best left in the past.

Could I

Is it possible I could love you more?
Could your heart be more melded to mine?
Could I make your spirits higher soar?
Could I give your eyes a brighter shine?

Those questions I with guilty shame abhor.
They engender thoughts garnished in gloom.
Yes, I must confess, I could love you more
But HOW leaves me lost outside our room.

Mind over matter,
Explore life's taverns;
Trust can engender,
A lonely cavern;
Play with full measure,
Hoist funny feelings;
Open life's treasures,
Reach borders fleeting;
Sense somnolent daze.
Sounds that now betray,
Urgent sure amaze
Ripe readings defray;
Give in to stillness:
Exit loneliness.

When We Met -Nightime Musing-

It was her scent.
Soul, instantly rent.
Craving I could not resist.
A mix. Showered, skin sun kissed.
I stood with hand extended.
Engender nerve to be mended.
She pulled to embrace.
Gentle kiss brushing face.
No other, since.
Skin to skin that intense.
Lustier, bustier, smart and coy.
I believe I'll turn to wake my joy.

Confined

The inconsistencies ~ life, death's enforce
as love's immortal framework spans divorce,
this rabid intercession teams remorse
from closeting my feelings, my discourse!

In apprehension's daydreams, I consign
emotional will's esteem as so refine,
and buckle my engender, nary's twine
indigenous, the urge to seek divine!

A passion for the arts, love's closest mind
is pallid by all else . . . all else confined!

A Christmas Wish

May your annual commemoration of the winter solstice with one of the Earth's poles at its maximum tilt from the sun be abundant with innumerable manifestations of felicity friends good food and fun and may the next full circuit of the ecliptic engender a propensity toward bestowing plenteousness too and may unparalleled prosperity be forthcoming and settle like snowflakes gently upon you

COPLA QUATORZE : This Bad Guy World

Bad Guys all bind stand together
Engender their kind forever:
Love each other

Good Guys think alone they matter
When Bad Guys approach they scatter:
Get run over

Countries get ruled by both the guys
But Bad Guys push for unjust wars:
Peoples’ bodies

Media people make the most noise
Decide – for the People – sans mores:
Wars boost countries

Today’s revolutionaries
Cheer tomorrow’s diehard tyrants:
New wealth old pose

Bad fruit engender not sturdy trees
Good Guys tend to slither down hot pants:
While world’s gods doze

Bad Guys feel good to be truly bad
Ill-gotten gains worth dying for:
Bad Good Guys lay

Even Good Bad Guys can turn bad
And the Bad Guy world all restore:
Utter dismay

Lunar Vibration's Swell.....

As if floating thru a powdered sugar mist,
Luna's sweet vibration,a confectioners kiss.....
moulding exquisite layers of soma's bliss,
remiss nought experience which reminisce....

Far away dreams lit upon starlight waves,
only to be realized within life stream raves
desire of the beauty in which it gave,
moments which engender,then tenderly enslave.....

Lost temporarily enchanted by it's spell,
full moon swoons as it rises and swells......

One Can Never Tell

circumstances rarely happen
     in logical, straight-forward ways,
          oftentimes, they make sense only
               in oblique, illogical haze;

thus, while crisis begets perils,
     perils spawn possibilities,
          which, in turn, richly engender
               most welcome opportunities;

thus, even the most tragic shipwreck
     may still lead to a most happy shore,
          one may be down and trampled on,
               but one can never really be sure !
