Gainfully

Eyes’ floodgates pour free
Plunging gagging still rising
Both nostrils enflamed

Dark Sustenance

Homeless
enflamed
in the alleyway
food
their main concern

Love
someone else’s
mystery
hunger’s infliction
— to burn

The Passion Enflamed

Don’t get ahead of the feeling,
  never forget a memory unlearned

Don’t think and kill the passion enflamed,
forgoing the moment—all time left to burn

Silence Unclaimed

Dropping its bomb,
  always missing the mark

 Your echo implodes,
  a sound hollow and dark

Answers unquestioned,
  all bombast enflamed

Drifting abandoned
  —in silence unclaimed

Silence Unclaimed

Dropping like a bomb,
  always missing its mark

 Your echo explodes,
  a sound hollow and dark

Answers unquestioned,
  all bombast enflamed

Smoke drifting abandoned,
—its silence unclaimed

Without the Fire

Is morality an end point,
or a journey to begin

Are right and wrong just bookends placed,
or what then lies within

All Ethical persuasion,
to attain or just desire

Whose end result will never come
—enflamed without the fire

Enflamed

Far across the ages
You seemed a distant dream
Years months days and hours
I traveled endless lives of desires

To answer questions you never asked
To give relentless excuses
I opened my lips to speak
But, You locked them again with yours
I burn every inch, each bit..!!

Love In Ashes

A distant scream,
the future cries,
our past to burn
unclaimed

Predictions simmer,
forecasts stir,
denials rage
enflamed

All promise broken,
hearts on fire,
reasons singed with
pain

With love in ashes,
hope to scald,
and freedom left
—in shame

octobre slinks forth
        relinquishing heat-scorched earth ~
                salacious summer

enflamed leaves embracing
        dalliance with wilder winds ~
		erotic fall tryst

hoary trees exposed
        brazenly displayed bosom ~
                scandalous winter

new bulbs gamboling
         commoved carefree canoodling ~

Old Age Creeps Up On Sam

On Sam Adam’s 66th birthday He felt old and run down Just felt burned out His body worn out His vision fading His hearing shot His teeth aching His back enflamed He felt the breath Of the coming of the end The end of life Coming for us all As we age And wait for death’s final embrace Ending the pain of living With pain every day.

Distinguish and Extinguish

DISTINGUISH AND EXTINGUISH

Thought I would put it in caps
like they enjoying doing in the
Capital Building where capital
ideas are constantly originated.
Here goes.

Best for Trump to do
Distinguish and extinguish;
We won't be enflamed.

As usual bright and clever poet
Anyway a horn will toot or blow it,
And no matter how hard I try
My playing will always be bothered by.

Love's Sinful Game

Days come and they go the thought of your breathe on my neck still lingers like a sweet chill in the air your intoxicating touch makes me quiver with anticipation as our lips interlock in the heat of the night. I wish we could stay where we are Frozen in time...Our own suspended animation Hours pass by and our time grows short yet we remain intertwined our passion ever growing in the midst of our love We see no end to our enflamed passion.
