geese honk surround sound
spring's emissary head north...
invisible ghost
For PD
On Saturday I could hear Canadian Geese
honking while inside the house..I walked
out to see them and it was like surround
sound on a stereo almost as if they were
in the trees but I could not see a goose
anywhere..Sign that spring is here though.
We have made our God eternal,
World without end; Amen.
Whose emissary waits forever,
On the other side of the door.
Moses, Mohammad, Buddha, Christ Jesus,
Pull a Clinton and define eternal.
The most frightening eternal spectre known,
Heaven Bless the poor who attract his attention
The auditor of the IRS....He waits for you.
Forever.

EVOLUTION
Dawn peeped at nature
Adorning herself in purity
And opened her eyes
To birds hymning praises
As the dew
And the mist
Gathered to exchange secrets
About the breeze
As it blew across
The surface of the land,
Then the autumn leaf
Was separated from the tree
And was lifted
By the breeze
High
Over the hills
To rest
Upon the shore
And the surf
The emissary
Of the vast ocean
Washed it
Out to sea.
FOR THOSE WHOM THE BELLS ARE TOLLING…
The acid rains have come and gone;
Leaving nuclear winters chasing
The purple autumns of our lives;
Dying bones, wrapped in parched skins,
Silhouette the inept horizons
Of the desert’s edge;
Famine, the silent emissary of death,
Carpets the naked altar of life:
Hunger tutoring the sacrificial lambs;
While in the shadows and hues
Of distant dawns, ships sail to the moon:
Leaving death smiling at the evil that men do.

glimmering with hope

U-nder the Lord God's guidance,
A-id is brought to fruition.

D-ealings are made with another;
O-verseas Filipino workers will truly be in proper order.

A-ccredited to alien government
N-aturally ranks between
A-mbassador and minister resident.
L-egate is sent as messenger to meet the task of an emissary;
O-fficial agent to accomplish the job of envoy extraordinary.
