Evolution
EVOLUTION
Dawn peeped at nature
Adorning herself in purity
And opened her eyes
To birds hymning praises
As the dew
And the mist
Gathered to exchange secrets
About the breeze
As it blew across
The surface of the land,
Then the autumn leaf
Was separated from the tree
And was lifted
By the breeze
High
Over the hills
To rest
Upon the shore
And the surf
The emissary
Of the vast ocean
Washed it
Out to sea.
