a LUNE POEM
Who runs Oz? The task,
A public servant you must ask!
PS clerk run our land,
Admirably, it's quite grand,
As they will tell you, tee hee,
They run budgets efficiently,
Managing Oz quite capably,
Pollies come and pollies go,
PS clerks are keeping on, lo!
The machine is crushing the man,
bit by bit, toes, shins, knee caps.
The machine is most efficiently
crushing the man, soul and body.
No time to even scream out,
the shock is too incredible.
The machine is crushing the man.
The man incredulous, is crushed.
It appears undaunted, unstrainably
By duties dictated exclusively
To provide protection unfeignfully
For needed traveling unharmfully.
It safely furnishes luminescence
As proven effective unfailingly
In guiding seafarers efficiently
To harbors constructed judiciously.
The room is cold
and I am shivering again.
I finished, worked
too efficiently
for this bureaucracy.
So, I pretend to work,
