Obatamy
We the enfeebled of the incited states of confusion, ordered to deform a more perfect union,
establish just Them, insure narcotic tranquility, provide for the common everything, promote
Welfare, and procure the dressings of Liberty to Them and Their posteriors, do profane and
demolish this Constitution of the United States of America....

Premium Member Addressing the Dressing
The blood that covers Is there to be stemmed It's the reasons why That we have to comprehend Discussions are set Minds to be spoken To continue with life No more wounds to be open Self harm is among us But many of us will never know We have to address the dressings And stem this flow Written after reading Marie Harrison's poem http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/poetry-soup-12.php

Stratus Spheres
When stratus is strung
 with artist's lattice
 and letters are spun
 as cotton cumulus

I bend in awe of
 resounding matter
 expressing substance
 beyond human dressings

Stilled in silvered
 lines of sanity
 hanging covertly
 for all to survey

Wisdom proclaimed
 displayed openly
 for viewing;
 pursuing

 should perception's
 glance be longer
 than a split second

Imagine what
 awaits
 a discerning eye

 if only?...

Premium Member Dance of Minions
Window dressings pasted tightly
moisture frames their presence
barely lit by cigarettes passing
outside in while I sit watching
the random dance of minions
scattered strains of sound
music plays somewhere, I can’t....
...my head longs for sleep now,
childlike, fevered presence roars
cool hands wipe away fear
alone with myself only lonely
I don’t feel well...scattered
causal thoughts shrug across
my addled brain. I am always alone....

Regretting Cake
Cake was desirable,
And so deliciously dreamy,
People were attracted emotionally,
Using it when they felt down,
Hiding their dark secret from others,
Feeling guilty about their indulgences,
Uncontrollable affairs,
Enticing and mesmerizing
Entrapping people with sweet charm,
Candlelit nights secluded rendezvous,
Passionate words spoken,
Entrapping with taste,
Sometimes disguising,
With different dressings,
But was the most appealing,
When covered in cream....

The Season of Silence and Slumber Has Arrived
Stepping out into the cool kiss of a burnt orange fall morning,
I pause to admire, the dressings of the day...
Light frost, on the fading green blades of grass,
sparkles in the early sun like tiny diamonds...
It's beauty matched by the blue clarity of the blanket above...
My breath leaves me...
The warmth hits the frosty air,
and moves away from me like a slow trickling stream...
Gone now is the heavy air of summer...
The season of silence and slumber has arrived....TAH...
