i looked into the abyss
in truth it did look into me
what it saw i know not
what i saw was raw love
wrestling the dominatrix of pure oblivion
inexorable gravity took hold of my lapels
in slow motion i went home

pinning me down in a playful attack,
laughingly refusing to set me free.
You're a Goddess of beauty and splendor;
with haunting eyes that peer into my soul.
