Dry Oasis

A flood, my loyal eyes disobeyed me
Tears like fractured glass betrayed me,
Stabbed my face, into a dry oasis,
My body, overthrown by the love of you,
Yet my soul, still untouched by your rain…

Her memory is short
She will forget the frightful anger that made her
Growl and snort

Her mood won't last
She'll forget I disobeyed her
Quite fast

The moon
Will persuade her
Soon

Her memory is short
She'll forget I disobeyed her
Soon

The Perfect Picture of Grace

Tho’ we all were sinners
And had a debt to pay,
God in all His mercy
Prepared for us a way.
Although we’d disobeyed Him
Our Father loved us still.
For all we did to pain Him
Dear Jesus paid the bill.
As he hung upon that cross
Tears streaming down his face,
Our Savior, He forgave us
Through God’s amazing grace.

Spared

I cannot name one thing I have done to earn your love.
I cannot even recall a time I did not turn my back on you.
I have disobeyed you by doing things my way.
I went against your word by stealing and judging others.
So what purpose do i serve by being here?
Why has by life been once again undeservingly spared?

A Mother

Not until i became a mother did i understand how much my mother had sacrificed for me.
Not until i became a mother did i feel how hurt my mother was when i disobeyed.
Not until i became a mother did i know how proud my mother was when i achieved.
Not until i became a mother did i realize how much my mother loves me.
Not until.

Premium Member Worship Him

Following a star
They came from afar
They came to Jerusalem
And were sent to Bethlehem

They came with singleness of purpose
And never lost their focus
They came with treasure
But they came to worship

They disobeyed king Herod
But obeyed The Lord God

This Christmas, like the wise men,
May we worship The Christ
This Christmas, like the wise men,
May we open to Christ and give to
Him out of the treasure of our heart

Walter took his life when he could not cope

With addiction and overdosed on pain

He tried very hard but then lost all hope

Found it too hard to control and abstain

Ralph medicated depression in vain

The rope's noose disobeyed his last command

His sadness was deep and mania grand

The bullet left just a brain bloody fame

As courage granted an ultimate stand

Too close for comfort as we were the same

Premium Member Garden of Eden

In a pristine garden centuries old
Adam and Eve were solemnly told
not to eat the forbidden fruit
but a serpent told them a fatal untruth

so they ate the fruit that was forbidden
became ashamed, and thought they were hidden
when God inquired as to what they had done
Adam blamed it on the woman

God's command they had disobeyed
and indeed they would have to pay
they were banished from the garden thus
thence were sure to return to dust.....
