Clouded
I am human; let me defeat darkness
Then can shine light onto others

Learning truth, love, joy
Dismember cords of fear, death

Upwards and onwords!...

Remember that embers
                              that fade in November

Difficult
Boggled is the mind
 Where we stand is anti
 Is shine proof
 Need not to check off
 But dismember the anti
 with anatomic
 Of words from the guru
no one should place a label
on who is more wrong or correct....

Substance Over Breath
With this tourniquet tort
And an afternoon spent
A half empty receptacle
Is substance over breath.

And when the wind blows
Against blemish and reason
I'll slightly dismember
And re-curl with no recognition.

A bitter sweet current
Divides and it portions
Although today i will love you
Tomorrow may be without feeling....

Letters To Lilith
Oh, duchess when you ascend your neck
To scrutinize the skyline
Were you aware that you could discover?
The very marvel that for years you so yearned?

Oh, duchess did you think it feasible
That you could matriculate the novelty ‘tis amour
Did you?

Open your eyes alluring one
Shan’t be a reason to averse your devoirs
though you must dismember all that bleeds...

The One I Remember
You're the one I remember,
Whenever I am sombre:
Our group's unique member
Adored by a great number:
Our home town's full number...

You race to peaks, not clamber,
Reach goals fast after slumber
After beer: urine amber!
With your heel crushed a mamba...

One to watch from September
To Christmas' December
Which club would you dismember?
Not until a penumbra....

Nibbled
Crawling creeping beetles nibble
scatter dither wind and wither
whether chew my mind and sweetly eat
or wittle holes in words I blather blithered incomplete
three thirds are hurled and rained and voided
annoyed I stew swear screamed "Destroy it!"
flung high a roar voraciously clear
heard words tremble dismember retreat with fear

Empty echos reach for letters
devours silence
belches beaks and feathes...

Blinding Light
Flying plates,broken porcelain
and
smashed family portrait
jewels strewn on the stained
marble floor
bloodshot eyes are fixed on its
makers
amidst anguished cries,
they dismember each other.

A frail body rushes into the
night
with a bleeding heart
darkness awaits to heal yet
another wound
i have travelled far
so beckon me not my makers
your chandeliers blinds me
I'll open my eyes in the dark....

Overture
Encapsulated in a world of duty and obligation I see no room for fantasy or imagination no wind of September can ever dismember the longing I feel for illusion, fantasy and excitation Only the stars of heaven can throw me a rope at night when I sleep, its the only time I cope the moon is my woon up there in the sky its the only thing that floats like hope. Give My Heart To You
Before I give my heart to you
I need to know what you will do
Will you just take my heart
Dismember it and rip it apart
Use it up selfishly
Broken return it back to me
If you saw the love inside
Would you be horrified
Or would you treat it tenderly
Fill it back up with your love for me
Would you show it kindness and care
Knowing my heart is a gift I share
So before I give my heart away
I need to know are you willing to stay...

Premium Member Common Threads
whether bound and dragged
behind a pick-up
‘til limbs slowly dismember
or shackled hand and foot
then tossed unsecured
into the back of a rolling
makeshift coffin

whether judge, jury or executioner
all don the same hat
and fancy themselves a God
and your only crime was to exist
in pigmentation unlike their own

let us not forget our tears
our laughter, our blood
our date with mortality
these common threads
that bind us...

A Gossipy Christian To His Pastor
Pastor, I know every church member,
Who during your sermon would slumber
And could supply you the entire snoring number,
If you badly want it this November
Or much later in December:
When distractions will lessen and you’d remember
One of them, a barrister with Onward Chamber,
Supposedly doing well here in Pemba…
Still note, of discord, I fan no ember
Nor entreat you to them dismember,
Jesus and I sure it won’t last like the Sun’s rare penumbra....

Wake Up Call
Go ahead and take my wife
Now go ahead and try for my life
But you won’t kill me
-- I will not die –
Cut out part of my tongue
Pull out all of my teeth
Peel back my face and watch me bleed
Dismember my shoulder
As if it were a broken boulder
I’ll say “you hit like a sissy” when it’s all over

Indeed, I have seen how strong I have to be
Everyone around is breaking down on me
My friends and family, one by one...slowly
And I’m the one with a cancerous disease

-Boz-...

On a Thought
A thought is just a thought they say
Little do they know of its strengths

Its ability to form, grow, expand, twist,
manipulate, scare, attack, stick, hold,
start trouble, destroy, cause panic,
distress, terrify, cause doubt, produce
chills ever so cold, enforce wrongful action,
terrorize, walk heavy on sweet and innocent
souls, make us run, conclude, assemble
problems, dismember us from ourselves

A thought is just a thought they say
Little do we know how well it can stem...
