J-ust please the Lord above, till the end of time;
O-bey His commandment to make your life sublime.

Touching the soft light
Fumbling with forevermore
Releasing fumes, feelings glow,
Breathtaking, dreams trembling, awkwardly climbing,
Arrested by fate, the flow of mystery,
Triplex herbs in indigo, violet kiss
Stirring disciplines,
Evoking her light,
glowing beneath the unsteady crevices
Reflecting the impossible, dazzling, bright.

Biology is about birth,
While Geology is about earth.

The Art of Biography
Is different from Geography.
Geography is about Maps,
But Biography is about Chaps.
Ancient science launches research towards new technology
Learning new disciplines to increase the power of their patron
Creating new magics; generating spendable gold from lead
Hinting at greater knowledge hidden in the realms of men
Evolving sciences increase the expertise of kingdom soldiers
Machines, potions and tactics to defeat enemies of the king
Yesterday's mysteries leading the world toward today's reality
Our minds like leaves
Fall in brown and gold
Flickered green light
Before winds changed the old
Peel of skin
To dry lignin.
Thoughts sloughed and chafed
To hold a name in the safe
Crutch of a swaying branch;
The proper term
For things in the discourse of disciplines
Or a shifting season
That make the deep sap
Flows sluggish, and stop
The loquacious tongue.
Youth is past.
Memory is a leaf
It turns in the Fall.
Gravity touches everything with grief.
Out in the rain the restless winds
now moan as winter's pale rescinds.
The flowers at the window bay
are silent bells that stiffly sway
while marching on the roof begins,
a riot of a billion pins
that shatter all my disciplines.
I clasp my hands as if to pray
out in the rain.
I feel the breath of pardoned sins;
on tenterhooks this mid-March grins
its unborn promise. I'm away
to spread my arms in gleeful splay
and echo tales this cloudburst spins
out in the rain.
