She could in the chamber resume
Her role holding off pending doom
Dianne Feinstein is fit
In the Senate to sit
If her body we’d only exhume

I once met a young lady from France
Who was having a tourist's romance
With a man from Cheyenne
Whose first name was Dianne
The French like leaving gender to chance

Discovered Dianne Feinstein
School children had crucial lead that is commanding;
We would discover them to be downright demanding,
Great job perform;
Way above norm;
It to your new response we must again be handing.

Crash.
Pounding.
I Hit Him,
Sinking nails in.
His Wails soar Louder.
My Frustrations Leave Me;
For now, I feel Less Alone.
Delightful Dirges always help...
But then my Mom Storms in, Hands on Hips.
"Bethani Dianne, turn that Piano Down!"

I dreamt of her last night,
It was so real I could taste the salt on her lips,
and the vengeance on her tongue
So sweet and so violent.
I believed she loved me
but only for a moment,
She was so tender
seemingly veracious.
Till I lifted her black veil
and saw the lies behind
her sparkling amber eyes.
That almost gets me every time.
I was born on March 1st, 1953.
I was the only male new born in Flushing Hospital's nursery.
I also have four younger sisters in my family.
Sherry, Roxanne, Dianne and Li-Li.
From my very moment of birth women have influenced me greatly,
be they mother, sibling, lover or family.
I often ponder and wonder how my life now would be
if not for All The Great Women who have influenced me.
(a weedy problem)
They know, they just know where to grow, how to dupe you, and how to camouflage themselves among the perfectly respectable plants.
~ Dianne Benson
Sprouts without doubts
Pretending to know the abouts,
Ready to grow into louts
Of the most nefarious sort~
Useless as fuzz on the spouts,
Tedious noise-maker flouts,
Sending flowers into the pouts.
A day at the seaside,
A bucket and spade,
What a treat a donkey ride,
Playing with shells,
Sand between my toes,
A pool where a little crab dwells
Gulls fly high in the air,
As i skip along the beach,
A child without a care,
Packing up it's time to go,
Shadows dance across the sand,
The bus is swaying to and fro,
I feel the shell within my hand,
My eyes closed....
The dreams of yesterday,
are here to stay.
