A bear crossed my path one day.
Less than twenty feet away.
Took one look at me.
Decided to flee.
I scared a bear, dare i say.

The utopian spiel with zeal
We'll visit this Eden ideal
But the feel one seeks
Will really need tweaks
To give paradise sweet appeal
formless void
invites soul
to enter
heart tender
soft to touch
spreads her wings
brave spirits
drenched in love
reclaim light
a double dog dare
why would anyone take it
a risk to their life
yet some people will
just because it is a dare
showing their brain cells
A powerful message I’ve found in my in-box
It reads, “If you’re losing friends lately
~ try changing your socks"
Truth spoken is still truth,
No matter how long it takes, once spoken!
Trust broken is still broke,
No matter how long it takes, once broken!
Where Eagles Dare - TB
Eaglets ace sky
first, defy plunge,
scrape by skirt dirt.

Than-Bauk Me
~~Charles Messina
Preparing a most daring dare,
Of pinning a tail to a bear,
He just couldn’t choose
Which tail type to use,
And thought best to leave matters there.
‘tis a special day
sadly many dare forget
reasons to be here

Her husband tried to restrict her diet
Causing a disturbance and a riot
Would you like to see?
How crazy this would be?
I dare you to go ahead and try it.
Dare to dream
It's all that we have
We hope for acceptance
Equality, freedom... peace
We must learn to love one another
Our differences make us whole
Lars heard Rose was back in London
He dared not hope she had returned for him
Discovering her in the walkway of his office
Hope began to blossom and flourish

DARE
Start with pure heart to seize the day:
Dare to work art in a fond way.

"I can stand any ride at the fair,"
said my brother, so he took my dare.
He rode on the Comet,
and then he hurled vomit
stuck disgustingly in his date's hair.
The seasons cry out loud
I’m making meaning of the landscape.
I’m the calming of the winds.
Entangle me, I dare you,
You are the poignant sun,
I adore you in ten million ways.
Dare
to be
different.
Don't follow the
crowd. Let your light shine
for all to see.
Just be you,
if you
dare.

Do Include In Your Dare
Be sure that included in your dare,
Is proof always exists you will care;
Give God praise
In many ways,
Also for others with much to spare.

Crewcuts, flattops, pompadours
Cowlicks, ducktails, side parts
Clean cuts, Ivy Leagues, slick-backs
Where have all these hairstyles gone
No longer do the cute chicks fawn ...
Don't you ever go.
Don't you know?
Don't you recall?
Don't you see at all?
Don't you remember...?
Don't you dare go there.
Don't you ever disappear.
Don't ever forget why you're here.
Feeling lost
No hope in sight
Look up
To the glory of the mighty heaven
Give your weary soul to our father
He will set you free
Through him you will be reborn
Look up
Dare to breathe
Gravel in the driveway and my feet are bare.
There is a pandemic of pollen wafting in the air.
I am chilling and there is Covid-19 in my hair.
Come and visit me sometime – today if you dare!
We played dare and jumped off the pier
Ignored the dangers and showed no fear

Not for, but inspired by Joseph Mays crystal clear contest
QUEST, DARE
Bear each pain
As touch gains
Smile at fear
That draws near
Dare to be
What soul sees
And in time
Feel health mime

I stand before Him, Who is Perfect in all His Deeds
Merely me, blemished. How dare I beg for doubtful needs
Yet He hears me out, He Who is Just in all His Ways
