Trimming

Clipping, smoothing, pruning; silly
dilly-dallies that people do.
Gross lessons in futility
achieved. And Oh!, tis true, tis true!

Impress
with your meaning
not with your word choice
‘Labyrinth’
dallies
when ‘Mazes’ will do

It Drifts

in the valley of the moon...it drifts
light and white, a dense fog
waiting for closed eyes and unguarded thought
images impale cerebral hemispheres
whimsically it dallies, a shadow on dark walls
flashes of color play on the backdrop of dreams
while softly it whispers a lullaby

a sweet dream comes

THE PERDITION

A Soul besmirched of its might;
Pummeled into the abyss,
A disconsolate plight;
Left with void, with butchered bliss,
Ostracized, by its own allies;
For now their fidelity surely dallies;

Oh! The revered one, what lures me behind
Show me the path, I shall grind
Forbade my blasphemous thoughts,
Reverberate my echo, to a thousand knots!

Once a connoisseur, with grandeur and glory
Now, an abdicator with a story

Mom's Cocina

Mom’s Cocina

Mom’s cooking breakfast this morning.
Pancakes and eggs with beef sausages
Meticulous and clean the cook makes some great food, Scrumptious!
Food smells great…overwhelming smell of goodness.
Egglands best, smokes beef Armor brand sausage.
Aroma permeates the house.
Hunger is calling my name.
Waiting, my stomach growls Mom dallies.
All I can think about is the food. My mind dallies as Orange juice falls into my mouth…
All for me right from the juice container.
