       fingers waggle
     girls giggle
       customers haggle

faded street signs point
into overgrown byways
unlit blind alley encores

cryptic curlicues
chant beats of new directions
my heart seeks for sacred roads

will to be diff’rent
fractals with cursive curlicues
cream-colored overalls

ostracized by nuns
and formal catechisms
with habitual fashion sense

now I’m in control
spinning like a pinwheel
with poetic enunciation

showed them, showed them all
i could take off my uniform
it’s monotone gray

wildflower blossoms
a coiffured carpet of moss
curlicues of vines

calligraphic bold sonnet
intoxicating fragrance

budding green love taps
from a small child’s fingertips
on each oaken branch

lucid tickle of sunlight
robin builds her newborns’ nest

Red statues bestirring beside sturdy brown
   Golden yellow tassels, the talk of the town  
Rich green blanket spread as far as meets the eye
   The idyllic scene framed under the bluest of skies

Textured white ripples rise and fall in silver pails
   Perky, pale curlicues wave, pretty pink tails
A color-splashed canvass greets Mr. Farmer every morn
   As he wends his way to and from the faded red, rustic barn

Wringing Withering Words
        Rhymes Remotely Rhetoric 
        Inherently Irritating Irony
        Tying Tattered Trajectories
        Enticing Ethereal Echoes 
        Relinquishing Ruined Rhymes
        Stubbornly sitting stalwartly

        Busily Busting Brain
        Limiting, Losing. Lackluster 
        Ostensibly Ordering Oracles
        Crumbling Cursive Curlicues
        Klutzy Kerfuffle Kaleidoscope

Desultory thoughts drift round hazy aura,		
swiftly flipping folios mottled by time.
Tattered snapshots emanate sadness and joy,
yesterday’s archives.

Softly creeping reveries sashay feelings,
forming ever imminent fervent cravings,
tender written curlicues of hope and love,
harvested daily.

Peregrinate dreams glide through lucid portals,	
traverse leas of ravenous risky passion,
driven by pure avarice changing values,
forging tomorrows.
