Hot apple cobbler, crumbly sweet cinnamon atop,
Vanilla ice cream melting; not wasting a drop!

She picked his poetic flowers
Her tender hope a crumbly seed
Each morn, in wait to taste his feed
She craved him till eve’s florid hours
In need to sate her stark bowers
It’s a strange thing looking alive in a leftovers box
Its crumbly beige and yellow with a brown layer underneath
It looks like aubergine, cream and mince, with a hint of something else
What will it do to your teeth?
Surely there must be a place
higher than this blue sky we sight...
A place perhaps most tangible,
less crumbly than this clay
that when we touch
turns to dust...
A place in which we are spirits
unbreakable and undying... !
It might have.... !
when cutting the cheese
it was more then just brie
but you can't say
that they exactly
broke the mold
it was blue
hard to say
crumbly
but it
was
one
of
a
kind
the kind i can't
find a pairing
of wines so
i suppose
it's one of
those that
truly does
break the
mold

veiny leaflet wisp
transported on a gentle wind
until she met a spider’s web
lacey floaty thing
imagined by a faerie king
caught hard and fast
dried and motionless now
a brown and crumbly thing
which had started out so hopeful

disappearing totally
back into the earth
Vlad has an upset tummy
He doesn't think it's very funny
He's going to get fixed
So he can go back to his biz
Of making Ukraine very crumbly
But Ukraine wants to have their say
To keep freedom and peace in their day
They'll defend as they can
Every woman and every man
So their children will have a place to play
