Crocs, they are my most comfortable shoes
They are a lifesaver for my sore feet
Socks and slippers on at home, I refuse
Grays or colors, fashion that can't be beat
Walk in them all day or rest for a snooze
Stay comfortable in the cold and heat
Heard a rumor they may stop making them
Absurd, sore feet would be a huge problem

Large shoes show good understanding!

The boss always looks for loafers
Detectives lean toward gumshoes
You'll see pumps in a hardware store
Clogs are what a plumber will choose

But sometimes people go barefoot
And though shoes do look kind of neat
Nothing is quite as comfortable
As when there are none on your feet!...

Ode to my crocs -- BALD from high wear,
In serious need of good-riddance
During my TREAD on a wet floor with care 
In the throws of a SKID and imBALANCE
By the absence of any TRACTION
Between the floor and the sole of my croc
In need of replacement action
for my crocs on the croc-chopping block
Up from the floor no worse for the wear
Through all the sales in the fliers
At the store with the Croc footwear
Back home with the new set of TIRES...

From a friend who had a sale at his store… Leftover crocs
At the front and the back and a pair at my daughter’s house… Dirty red crocs
I only use them to let the dogs out… The old red crocs

For inside, I have to keep my feet warm….Fuzzy Socks
Get them every Christmas….many colored Fuzzy Socks
In the winter when my feet get cold….Fluffy, puffy, Fuzzy Socks
In summer too, because I’m getting old.…Always wear my Fuzzy Socks...

The jungle lush and beautiful
Drops of rain hanging from the leaves
The flowers emitting a sweet smell

The river still and quiet
A lone fisherman in his boat
Constant chirping of the birds
An occasional from the jaguar

The buzzing insects around me
The soft wind rustling the trees
Squirrel busy collecting nuts
A cuckoo calling for its mate

Life can be so beautiful
Like those crocs landing in the river
Jungle at its own pace
Calm and serenity everywhere....
