I once knew a songster from Skokie
Who was thrown in the Sing Sing pokey
They claimed he was off key
And his voice was croaky
So he killed them at karaoke!

Ravens from mountain tops to our roofs,
are endlessly resourceful, playful and intelligent.
Much larger than crows and have a deep croaky voices,
skilled aerialists, doing rolls and flying upside down.
They mate for life and are affectionate and emotional,
named one Hoppy 'cause he hops on one leg.
Partly cloudy when the first crow crows,
first drop of rain drove me behind wheels.
My ears craved the pitter-patter drums,
so I could hum with my croaky voice.
After miles of dusty tyre imprints,
my voice had to hum the song of fall,
when dry leaves shone in autumn colours—
since the sky remained partly cloudy.
My neighbor Mike loves karaoke
Who sings off-tune a Hokey Pokey;
Grinds he with delight
But it's twelve of night...
Irked, my alarm whips that voice croaky.
