Unborn Tanka
I’ve seen the freezers
where they store the mother’s eggs
where the unborn sleep
cradled in maternal dreams
cribs of baby fantasies...

Believe
Expensive cars and diamond rings
Nice cribs and fancy things
Will not mean anything
When it’s your time to leave
So don’t cherish material things
Just remember your faith and believe...

Recycled
The grown-ups did not feel, we thought,
We, students, never with them fought;
We recycled wastes, yet,
Out of these got cribs set;
We have, truly, a new fact taught...!

Light of God
Buried with souls of the plundered
Plundered they watch through eyes of ghosts
Ghosts entombed in cribs of darkness
Darkness freed, by the light of God

sewing elf with his knitted socks and his crocheted bibs
sits among the wild flowers, counting neonate nursery cribs.
stitching up mattress covers and fluffy pillows for the young.
he has a keen sense of humor and laughs like a beetle dung....

Then and Now
I use to be a baby
I use to sleep in cribs
Now I'm a young lady
That doesn't wear a bib

I use to be toothless
I use to have tiny feet
Now I use a toothpaste
That doesn't taste so sweet

I use to throw tantrums
I use to be a mess
Now I'm very random
And gives my parents stress...

Premium Member Mr Sandman's Magic
The little babies wake up early
They are ready to start their day
Playing with their toys for hours
Then sleepy for their naps
Ready to play until bed time

So laying in their cribs
They are wide awake
Waiting for Mr Sandman
To join them at their cribs
With magic to make them sleep...

Tropical Fishfood
Fire pounds the walls of my brain,
Lights the rough inner surface,
Sheets it with a gold agony---
Rages through the different levels,
Scorches all my memories,
Leaving charred charcoal corpses---
Upward toward the nursery
Where Concepts, lined like infants in cotton cribs
Perish in their sleep...

Premium Member Whatever Works With Wonder
the making of demons
in heavenly cribs
the veil of Truth
covered in Lies
For at first consider
humanity is
and it truly is
at once alive
like life
by the waves
of on high
nigh a nightime
we spread
enslaving
the dead
damned
and
gifted
no reason
no end
by the bay
it floats! it floats!
infinities away...

That
Of her spirit
Cribs mildly
Fairness about
Living organisms
And
Flowering plant

Within
Bees hum
Birds flutter
Gnawers
Are not so
Quiet and mystery
As arachnoids
Untangle their cobwebs

And
Within her mind
She generates
The sun
Gleaming from her
Soul
To yours

My Doll
MY DOLL - A POEM

Waiting behind the closed doors
My dearest smiles at me
My tired soul lights up again
I hold my doll with glee

‘Dolls’ for kids’, teases this world
My Doll cries or laughs with me
With it, can I ever get old

Mind filled with guilt as
I keep My Doll homebound
My Doll never complains or cribs
For me, my Doll is always around

Friends or kin come and go
Down in the dumps, I find solace
in my Doll, makes me forget my woes...
