I'm going to get up and dance to chase away these blues.
I will crank up the music, then kick off my shoes!
A little jazz for the soul will be just the thing,
It never fails to give me back my swing!
When my bipolar gets me down,
I do not take a med.
Crank up a disc of Johann Strauss;
that gets inside my head.
I have been known to dance and hum
and waltz around the room.
That gay and happy music helps
me push away the gloom.
When all else fails in this world
And it seems like it won't get better
Just find a place for you to be
Switch off the world for a while
Crank up the volume so you hear
Every song you love and sing out
For that is the reason alone you need
To get back your life and from it you feed.

Sweat-drenched heat victims crank up the AC’s.
Temperate weather has bid us adieu.
Energy is sapped; for some, optimism grows dim.
Alleviation follows the occasional rainstorm.
Many rely on swimming pools for brief respite.
Yesterday was hot; today will be a record-breaker.
Just as butter is made my churning cream
Light that love and churn that dream
Churn it till it’s smooth as can be
Then generously spread it all over me
Roast me, toast me then throw me in the pot
Crank up the heat because I like it hot
No need to time it so lets explore
Churning our dream till we can churn no more
The longer we churn the smoother the cream
That’s what makes us a perfect team
Each forever willing to do our part
To churn our dream with all our heart
