Premium Member Lady Palogne - Odd Fact 010
After her husband’s death,
The Countess Antoinette de
Bethune Palogne,
lived twenty-five years alone.
Each day to show her faithfulness,
She did the oddest deed.
To her husbands skull kept on her desk,
From his favorite two books she would read.

Alps
Abode of the avatars and the demigods,
I am ageless, calm and deep rooted
Indulged in the timeless meditations, I find vigor in serenity
Covered in the blanket of loam, rocks and snow
countess trees of life are sheltered on my back
The sun, the stars, the wind and the skies are all my allies

Elizabeth Bathory
I cannot believe that you are you
So many legends are told of you
The world’s first female vampire
You were so much more vicious
Bathing in the blood of virgins
And killing so many more
The men were no competition
You indeed earned you name
The Blood Countess of Hungary
Even today you are a heroine to so many
Elizabeth Bathory you will live forever
Just as you wished.

four directions set me free from all
the eventual has yet to show its face
the countess of time married my past
and for the first time I see my future
the four elements lift me homeward bound
as the joy wells up in me to a fever pitch
the continuity of it all stalls
and the flow of life stagnates
the pool of time congeals
and its me that has been revealed
for my home is no home at all...

White Angel
White angel in the sky,
Wearing white satin dress,
Singing and flying up high,
Looking like a countess.

White wings flapping in the air,
In slow motion you like to stare,
Floating and waving merrily,
With a skin so soft and silky

Touching a cotton like cloud,
Lovely, mighty, and proud,
So pure that it gives us blinding light,
Shimmering like diamonds tonight.
