Chasing the Unworthy
Finding the existence of something which never existed,
Heart went on and on despite the mind staunchly resisted,
'Kind-heartedness' was the one considered to be vulnerable,
'Presence of mind' became the one to be contrarily susceptible!...

Doubt. Fear. Par for a world
of quakes and shakes --
droughts and flakes
upon the mountains
contrarily bring
fountains to the
desert bakes – separation
has bound us together --
the world a reflection
of man's ambient Light --
we abuse such gift of
Might – then blame God
for what is wealth of freedom....

In His Own Image
In His own image
God created man.
His desire of course
Was that man know His plan.

That created being

The Trouble With Poets
If by accident, they occasionally
come near to any kind of truth
they tend to breakout in hives,
or shake uncontrollably.

We shouldn’t expect them to be truthful,
it’s asking too much.
Would we demand a dog
cook its own dinner,
or a pickpocket play a glockenspiel
while lifting a wallet?

Mostly and quite contrarily,
we condemn the author
for having lied
a whole lot better
than we ever could have....

Up a Bit From Yesterday
Through googly eye's
and a warm-browed telling
I see that summer is fast coming
the panting wind proclaims it.

As contrarily as a dude can get
I wish for a fresher breeze
a knee twinging chill or two
not many
just a pinch of a light blue
mildness.

Lunch will be brunch today,
and then a nap
between cold beers.

Summer days
are as hazy-brained as ever
I remember,
just before
night flips its switch....

Perversity
PERVERSITY contrarily agreeable sometimes rebellious but never unreasonable that’s me when I want to be free desert island exile scratching my days away on a coconut tree or shell to travel in time and turn water to wine to shoot lasers from sharp eyes then watch the compromise when landscapes are frank and nightfall’s harsh I dive underwater escaping blue stark naked past © Kim van Breda—15 September 2105
