Won't you come be still
Stay awhile
I have something for you
Won't you come

written by James Edward Lee Sr.
The reality is also
a great illusion ...
Only further concrete
and persistent ...!
On multitasking,
when dealing with those that can't,
they project their can't
upon your can until it becomes your can't.
Dreams happen when u make them your goals and objectives! A dream is absent minded! whereas goals and objective are concrete!

The genius of the mind is limited only by
The mentality of the fool.
The fool has common sense,
The genius has solutions.

Summer heat rising
Sweat lubricates the brow a
Single drop of sweat
Escapes the swipe of an arm
Lands on concrete to sizzle
Men and women pour tons
Of concrete, cement, asphalt, stones
The humble weeds seek the Sun
Foundation. Humans quip they won!
If you want your big jam sandwich
Pay attention to your stomach
Looking down at your toes…
You can see them – add more butter!
Outnumbered by loud engines and concrete blocks
Furious crowds and mobs ignore your existence
Till you clutch your way back home
The concrete had no say
Still wet
As hearts were etched
Initialed
Left to cure
Beside the pawprints
Of a frightened kitten
Towers,
Concrete canyons,
Buzzing crowds, lights ablaze,
Heart's relentless and vibrant pulse,
Urban.

Morning approaching fast…
Hateful sound of dreaded alarm
I’m squinting my eyes, realize
Dreams are gone and it all starts again.
You came...
Gave me love..
Hope..
Peace..
Joy and happiness.
You came..
And gave me..
Pain..
Tears...
Sadness..
and..
A Broken Heart
" Never pick on someone just
because they're different, You'll
never know what kind Monster shall
be awakened "
Shawn Munoz
The square is a shape that goes
it from
meets it until another to corner one
A doll’s eyes ripped out
Torn dress and a faded face
Used and forgotten
Trodden into the concrete
Till she is found in the street
A lot lies asleep
Man inserts his concrete seed
A building is birthed
Empty rooms reach the heavens
Below, homeless live in hell
Put the children out to play,
to walk in fields, to roll in hay
No concrete halls, no dues to pay
Just clouds to watch till end of day.
