My trusty chunky Globite with its rusty clunky latches,
Its shattered battered corners and its lid worn thin with scratches,
Pink Floyd stickers on the inside where the teachers couldn't see 'em,
Now my dusty rusty Globite’s sitting here in a museum.
Posy and Punky rode a kinky ass
Went to the market to buy awesome trash
But the trash was clunky
Said Posy and Punky
The ass rolled his eyes hey they are still fresh
Oars slap water,
a heron
watching, fishing, being still as
stone.
An early sun
crashing through the mist
intent on warming eggs.
Oars sweep a clunky-swoosh,
white wake burbles.
Row slow
By the time the kitchen is reached,
It will be minutes before breakfast,
there will be bacon.
Oars slap water,
gently, ever so gently.
Smarter than a dolphin golfing a par five with two raging rabid bears
Smarter than a blind man walking up seven uneven stairs
Smarter than a clunky monkey who takes your quarter at fairs
Smarter than a genius that keeps his mouth closed because no one cares
Smarter than a species that is not found and still out there

It was years ago
a lonely year.
a more clunky and mechanical age,
a dial-up decade.
He sent out needy signals.
Eventually a divorced lady from
Doncaster responded.
Sensual seeds were planted.
E-mails were exchanged
together with photographs
taken years earlier.
One day, not long after
a mutual disappointment
fizzed between them
like a dying fly.
Together they dialed-out.
I can't go in our room
It's empty
and full of things you discarded
cigarette butts, phone numbers without names
lonely things not shared but bombarded
so I shut the door
like I shut out your leavin me
that door, it just keeps talkin
might as well paint that door red
I'm thinkin bout puttin my shoes on
remember? with the big, clunky heels?
I'm thinkin bout kickin that damn door in
JUST TO SEE HOW IT FEELS
Hah! Kimmy
A heron shoots a glassy eye
keeps fishing by doing nothing.
Oars slap water.
An early sun crashes through the mist
intent on warming eggs in lakeside nests.
Slap go the oars, a clunky-swoosh,
a white wake burbling.
If I row very slowly
it will be a few minutes before breakfast.
You will be dishing a trout onto a buttery plate.
Elsewhere, a silver fish
swims down a blue herons throat
slip slapping all the way.
