Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Our love once smelled new
Blossomed with life, grew in time
Like flowers at noon

I miss you Chula,
You left me without a word
Hurricanes come fast

I once overheard
“If you bow at all, bow low.”
Our leaf flew from branch

Death would be softer
Without you I am not whole
Snow covers my heart...

Premium Member CONTEMPLATION
When next you sit and contemplate
The emptiness of your life,

Perhaps you'll muse past old mistakes,
Old lovers and their lies.

Too many moments slip away
Longing for the past;
And moments mount against the day
To win the war at last.

With your lifetime spent and no reserve,
Where will your last days find you,

Contemplating the pain ahead,
Or lost in the pain behind you?

Meaning of Life

The meaning of Life,
To touch, to feel, to see
To know without shadows or doubt,
      One's own immortality.

Life is the kindergarten of the Cosmos;
       A proving ground for worth.
       Evolutionary graduations,
Lift us high above the Earth.

Reflections of the sunset
Through the prisms of our eyes
Life's laughing at our naivete,
       Smiling at our lies.

Premium Member Missy Mouse nursery rhyme
Missy Mouse left the house,
Skipping down the lane.
She was happy dancing among the flowers
And splashing in the summer rain.

When the soft rain stopped, she hopped
Upon the moss lined forest path.
She twirled and danced among the trees,
Happy to breathe the fresh cleansed air at last.

Missy Mouse returned to her house
As the sunset began to glow above.
She loved the beautiful world around her
And thanked the Creator for His Love.
