Poor old Schumer and our poor old Nancy
Biden gave them not one pardon fancy
He was stabbed in the back
And thrown out like a hack
Now with Donald their futures are chancy
Patricia, Patricia, my friendy friend friend
So happy to know you, a friend to the end
You tickle my fancy
Sounds a bit chancy
So where's my “fancy” well that Depends
Inspired by a recent contest
I know of a girl, who's quiet antsy
To enter Her contest was chancy
I could have wrote deep
but I'd put Her to sleep
Hoping this lyric's more to Her fancy
checkered cheetah Chancy chanted cheery chipper chant
Chimpanzee curiously concentrated ‘cause cheetah can’t.
cackling cadaver’s cadence cheered chimp’s cheery chance.
delivering devious devilish Dracula during Desmond’s dance.
Thanks indeed great God for small mercies,
Chancy if man has all his wishes.
With just half, he’s doubled
His storehouse that troubled!
What else if wishes are wild horses?

Topic: humour, god, wishes
track mysteriously tarred
gaunt gold grasped
training taunting gaze
coarse crumbling create
bewitching trait basked
in taciturn trail
as sagged sun
seeped'n dawn's lust
pokes fiery tongue
or callous colleen
treacherous **** gleam
though saucy spree
so and so
grotesques'n glimmers glow.

As I sit at my desk
Holding my not so trusty pen
My pen takes on a life of its own
And off it goes again
Not with words of eloquence
Or phrases full of passion
Back to Covid 19
That's one thing not on ration
So if by chance you read this
Thank You anyway
Take care and look after each other
That's all I have to say
Foolish, needy me
Rejected and cruelly set free
Again, lured back
Grieved by what lacks
In this so-called romance
Love’s a chancy dance
Equality’s nonexistent
Heartache is persistent
Each day I’m sinking lower
Aware that more broken promises are in store
Realizing I’m to blame, too weak
To pursue the change I should seek
Never bought a used vehicle....thought it was too chancy
Found a reasonable price on a used Pontiac Montana van real fancy
Had a few quirks and they made it all right
She ran real fine for a few months then came the alarm lights
One then two audible and flashing the oil was dangerously low
Checked the oil and it was full; I new this machine was gonna cost me some dough!!
Drove to the dealer and traded it for a Lemona
A brand new set of problems in the Sienna
