Caleb, Caleb cutie cream pie
Couldn't keep one candy handy
Sweet tooth times a thirty pearlies
Became loose-y goosey gummy
Jingle bells, Ashley smells
Shirley laid an egg
The truck had a flat
And the deer got away
Hunting days, hunting days
Deers be aware, Caleb has a sharp eye
Packing a hot loaded rifle yeah!
**My eleven year old wrote this
Come to me he whispered,
And I was happy to comply,
Love, in the highest from shone from his eyes,
Every cell in my body, responded to his voice.
Be mine I whispered
He nodded in reply
Everything I wanted was in him
All my dreams, in him
Rejoice,
Taboo of love, is broken
The darkness is filling up my room
nightfall is coming very fast.
Today was really filled with gloom
good thing the days never last.
I look at my closet and there I see
something glaring at me.
It's not that big but it will do
it fills me with joy and not gloom.
This small thing..., it is called hope!
It is always found, even when I mope.
But it's never lost and never goes
and this little thing never slows.
Injury, sickness and time weakens the fragile human body.
When a person has been fighting
the battle of life, the body weakens with age.
One day we give up the battle and take our
begining in God's eternal kingdom.
Where we won't tire, have pain, be sad and feel loss.
Uncles are there praising Jesus at his feet,
smiling brightly with no pain nor sorrow
in a mortal body. No addictions nor diseases
to cloud the mind and vision.
What can be said
about this man
One that is not easy to be read.
His words come to life
Pen to paper
With poetry to his wife
A loving father indeed
Nothing else like it
Teaching and giving all they need.
Mysterious is he
What's in his head
Is he thinking about me
He's not perfect
Mistakes have been made
Things I know he'll correct
He's my best friend
the one I married
A love that will never end
He has been mine
For quite some time
I find he is still so divine.
