glitzy colored rhinestones
popping in and out
with the help of the light
looking like pirate's loot
worn on grandma's coat
left over from 1942
a spider or a tiger
sometimes a snake
holiday brings out better ones
memories sear through relatives
glitzy colored rhinestones
pinned on those who remember

Times like this,
I sway in the playground of my mood;
Falling into a melancholic digress.
Hovering over me,
Are misty dews of pessimism.
"How knowledgeable is he
That cannot read minds?"
The heart gets burdened
Knowing not if it's curve,
Would ever be straightened.
Your silence broaches my heart.

There she sits, blowing the high clouds away
Multi-colored hues, colors that surround
She can’t find another to look this way
There she sits, blowing the high clouds away
Blend of air and space broaches here today
It’s the best feeling she could find around
There she sits, blowing the high clouds away
Multi-colored hues, colors that surround

She had the utmost prettiest of pretty things
Ruby bracelets, broaches of garnets, diamond rings
Some looked up to her because of her fancy clothes.
Who these thinkers were providence only knows.
I waited for her to make her move, not yet impressed.
She was all of that, beautiful, and gorgeously dressed.
I suspected she would be vile, selfish, insanely mean.
But instead she had kindness such as I had never seen.

Sat a home at the end of life
I’m all alone and full of strife
I’ve lost it all, I have but air
I’ve been a fool and had no care
The end approaches, slow and steady
No one broaches what I know already
I am no use, to man or beast
I’m just obtuse, better off deceased.
The bottle beckons with sweet release
Give up my seconds my heart to cease
No longer a drain, on those I love
An end to pain, I’m off to above.

The official name is
Contrails
No more than condensation
The alternate one
Chemtrails
poo pooed across the nation
I can't help notice
months go by
With none in sight
Are we to understand
that
No plane has taken flight
Yet, when they
Return
The skies are cross hatched
Such coverage in true
Journalism
Won't be matched
I've discussed it with
My brother who many
topics broaches
When they return
I call and say
There's sprayin the cockroaches
