Premium Member Alive At Night
coyotes howl
desert comes alive at night
I shiver

rats shaking tin cans
junkyard comes alive at night
I cringe

wild zombies dance
graveyard comes alive at night
I turn tail

screaming bobcats
woods come alive at night
I run like mad...

Premium Member Don'T Ask
Don't ask lovely Star Magnolia
Nor blueberries' bell blooms
Japanese Magnolia won't tell
Lest quickly seasons assume

Who browned the awesome pink blossoms
Or turned camelia squishy

Baked by the spring sun
All dried up, turned white by the sun ...

He had watched me
From a very distant place
He knew from the first moment
He had to see my face

Then the cry of the bobcats
Piercing the air
Gave me a terrible scare
Why did they have to be there...
