Smile is my essence

Endless
The truth of the matter,
and what matters I ponder
a blink away from escape
lost to a timeless lucid state
prehaps timeless upon timeless
though not to be remembered
but I have felt and seen before
How quick do i forget?...

Time Flies (Cameo)
Just see
           Your future comes quick
When you’re not looking you’ll find
                        Tomorrow
Is less than just a blink away
It will come and go like that
                          Beware

Cameo syllable count is 2,5,7,3,8,7,2, unrhymed...

Premium Member Candle Born
Please leave behind a candle born
to blink away dark of night..
as stars give way to distant morn,
please leave behind a candle born.
Though night voices call out forlorn,
and timid few choose garish light..
please leave behind a candle born-
to blink away dark of night....

Understanding and Accepting
Tomorrow's just
    a blink away.
And, yesterday
    was once today.
Time moves on
    in spite of all.
Where, once was spring
    has now turned fall.
And, seldom does
   youth understand,
What age has seen
   pass through it's hand.
Eventually,
    we all do learn,
With time comes change
    and tables turn.

I Stay Silent
I fear it.

I shake when his lips

descend down my neck.

I tremble when his hands

travel down my blouse.

I fear it.

I hate it.

I blink away tears as his voice

moans and grunts down my ear.

I fight back the scream as his fingers

journey under my skirt.

I hate it.

He takes me,

eyes unseeing, he's unaware.

He uses me,

body tense, in this love affair.

He loves me.

I stay silent....

Blink-Away
Shouting loud, screaming down
I was alone on the ride with
terrible sound.
Laughing out, whispering down
He came around.

I hugged him tight,
Like a baby did when he was fright.
He took me in his arms,
Like he was mine.

Suddenly wind started,
 blowing our way.
I feared of loosing him..
With a ray to never go again so far

"Wake up baby "mom said
N I realised it was just a dream....

The Tune of Devil's Harp
i only wanted a try
or two, but i did three, four,
five and more…
until my thoughts,
body, and soul were trapped
by the x and y of desire

i wandered alone
in the dreary glen, where cold and
tears were a blink away…

i only wanted a try
or two and promised myself
i’d not taste again, but
i hardly said
goodbye, adieu, ciao to a drug-crazed life,

until one day i read
the headline: teen died, dancing
in the tune of devil’s harp...

Glacial
GLACIAL
Scent of lilies.
His pain over, mine just begun.
I caressed those hands, gifted, loving.
Kissed his waxen brow.

A blink away from the dying sun,
the ignition key trembled.
I half-expected to waken,
clasped in his arms. Soothed
back to life, on the mourning air.

Our silent house stood strong,
and healthy,
ticking away lonely hours and empty nights.
While I flinched from the glacial steppes,
of our marital bed.
