Please leave behind a candle born to blink away dark of night.. as stars give way to distant morn, please leave behind a candle born. Though night voices call out forlorn, and timid few choose garish light.. please leave behind a candle born- to blink away dark of night.

A beautiful poem. I think there is something so spiritual about candles and the light that emanates from them. I love the line,’ as stars give way to distant morn’. Such a well written poetic poem and I so enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. Warmest wishes to you.

My friend, a very enlightening new creation. A very fine gifted TRIOLET... Yes we should shine a light for others to see. For many walk around in blindness on this old blue marble. A fine triolet my friend. God bless...

Yes, the inner spirit of a person be it joy, love, peace, happiness is left behind when they leave if they are filled with something besides themselves. That spirit definitely lights the way. Thanks for sharing this insight and for dropping by my page. Sara
