Premium Member THE WAY OUR COLORS BLEND

May we be blessed to understand…
to one day comprehend…
how this world is made more beautiful
by the ways our colors blend.

Premium Member A BLEND of EYE with MIND pointillism

dot.. by dot..
frozen forever
as a ‘still-life’ shot

juxtaposed
into our eye
colour flows
     into shaped
palettes
   of the fleeting
made permanent

a point
   becomes
     an impression
art

Blend

Nasty and cold need to stay in
Light the fire let's begin
Slow sensual and so very hot
Time is what we've got
Detached no you can not
Need your mind in this very spot
Touching kissing melting and then
You and me blend
Form: Prose

We Never Blend

We never blend
when they say "yellow"
I say "yellow"
You say "it is low"

We never blend
when they say "come"
I say "come"
You say "go"

We never blend
when they say "We love you!"
You say "I love you"
I say "Who you?"

We never blend...

I Am a Color That Can'T Blend In

I am a color that can’t blend in
Paint that refuses to mix
The first era of blues is upon us
And my work song is different from all the rest
I am not a melody for anyone to sing along to
For my beat is erratic
Care to catch up?
I’m taunting you to try

Premium Member Blend Bespelled

A perfect blend with each other,
you can’t underestimate them;
Just enough don’t add another,
a perfect blend with each other;
Bespelled when they’re together,
ink and coffee stains in tandem;
A perfect blend with each other,
you can’t underestimate them.

Premium Member A Grandmas Blend

softly stirring their beds,
the gentle snore of calm.

the diffuser soothes the senses -
a grandma’s blend of lemon,
eucalyptus, peppermint, basil,
tea tree and rosemary.

allowing winsome dreams to croon
after the forgetful fit of coughing

Lemon oil and Breathe Easy do the trick!

Blend Away the Stark Edges

Drawing and life are similar
The edges in a drawing are blended away
The tight edges in life soften with time
We love more, and see our fraility more
With blessed time, time we are given
Time to know our edges are soft
Time to know we need a loving redeemer
Time for faith to grow deep
Thanksgiving grows with a deep faith.

The Blend

This small town will be our end
Don’t you know that these walls
See and tell, these vibrant facades
I saw you dance and fall
Trappings of a time old
To the blare of a song loud
I saw not the lips that pouted
Till they touched mine
November might have been cold
But my embers were kindled
And as the wind blew,
You and I closer drew
Till the walls no longer knew
The dance floor of lips

Premium Member The Value of the Blend

The perfect blend of the past with the present provides freedom to live and explore every joy life presents. The new lacks flavor from experience, but has exuberant energy; the old has flavor and wisdom. Breathe in deeply, absorb the light allow everything to blend like colors on a canvas and live.

Distant Friends Deep Within the Depths Blend-Inspired By Caycay

i reach to you
across spans of sea
my feathered touch
a gust of wind
bowing down
beneath
tips of waves
flushed
from setting sun

trickled tears
gathered in the froth
flow back to me
in trails of pain
etched of distance

i cannot elide
the salty mist
of your eyes
as i cry back
in whispered echoes
along the edges
of blanched shores

Blend With the Trees So Tall

V-iew is turning crimson,
E-rasing the cold dark night;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
O-pening the day with light.
N-ew dawn has broken,
I-t gladly bathes your heart,
C-omforting you with warmth,
A-s the shadows slowly depart.

H-aze and mist are gone,
U-nderneath the blue sky
D-ay thirteenth December
G-ives glow to your either eye.
E-vening chill has disappeared,
N-o more raindrops to fall;
S-unshine and hues show up to blend with the trees so tall.
