en los valles oscuros dormidos.
cuando el primer tinte rojo abrazó
el cielo púrpura de la sabiduría i
susurrando de la brisa azul cosquilleada
la arena blanca, ondas espumosas invertidas,
luego Reyaculado en el útero de espera
de los estériles del mar

The life lived
I live next door to a street lamp
full moon every night
On an enormous heavenly canvas
A Lone Star shine
the rest have turned their back on earth
light up a galaxy
that is not of my concern.
When I watch an ad for Martini Blanca
on TV fine, by me
I need not be smart, in a bar.
I pity the star
it must be cold up there.
I wave, it blinks back, and fireflies dance.
Cornelius was a linguist, not a poet -
though his ego was much too large to know it.
After penning a traditional Japanese tanka,
regarding the policies of la casa blanca,
he realized his multicultural poetry - though raw
in meter and message - lacked a certain je ne sais quoi.

Oh Santa Muerte, La Niña Blanca
Oh Holy Death, the White Girl
You are Saint to me, my Great Valedora
You are my Protector, Holy White Girl
To God be the glory because of the White Girl
Among His Holy Ones, La Niña Blanca
My White Girl as pure & gleaming as a pearl
Always I honor & remember you, my Great Valedora.
