hospital-at-tea

finally out at last...
spent seven 'daze'
in the hospital...
was blacking out
collapsing in a haze...
an 'imp' proved
to be bacterial...
noticeably better now
glad to be back...

Cloudy Reasons

Dark though inside stars can keep you warm
But like arias— never stepping chase
This solo softens when distance far
For blacking out slowly— memory's sake.
I see you so beautiful in gray.
And I'm gray too— in your bright waxing dust;
Where I riddle away with our cause.
In this dizain, I pull on you near—
Though we sidestep a shadow love,
Falling stars flicker in eyes— my tears.

The Blacking of the Hole

THE BLACKING OF THE HOLE
Hello! Mars!
Are you there?
We got some money for you down here!
Do you need some foreign aid
I tell you what we'll do
there's lots of money comin in
we'll beam some up to you!
And if you need some more someday
our address is NASA BLACK HOLE
where we can throw our money in
all day and never go broke!
NASA have spoke!

Rain

The leaden gray blacking clouds
Open up and drops me upon the earth.
I fill the lakes and make the rivers run.
I fall into the hustle and bustle of crowds
As they huddle under their umbrellas.
My wet glistening drops tip-tap dance
Quenching the thirst upon nature.
I am cool as I fall on surfaces like rooftops.
My rhythmic soothing sound
Lulls even the savage beast to sleep.

Hollow

I hang my head a dripping tear, you pull away ,
The lonliness , my only fear
I'm feeling shallow and so hollow ,
the feelings I have so hard to swallow .
A twisted heart my broken mind,
I am the pain that's been refined.
My sadness brews like no tomorrow .
filling my veins so full of sorrow.
I'm blacking out or so it seems,
it's like a needle so full of dreams..

Tulip Smile

When is the totality,
for the city shake
of shoulders—
meant to pick a
tulip from its smile?

The moment she's pulled
from her planet
reveries— she writhes
and slowly droops,
her face, a blacking out
kind of hue.

For once on Terra firma,
she let the heaven in—
its color confidences;
and how our mind on dry
land would spin.

And by her cells wherever
they time; know her
comatose petals will all fall—
but she's someone else...
in shredded flight.
