Premium Member A Clear Blue Sky

My parents always said to me
The best things in life are free

A clear blue sky, a deep blue sea
~ Ah, too, forgiveness and apology

1. phonies hate down to earth people and vice versa. Phonies think real people are crazy. Real people know phonies are crazy. 2. The best things in life are free. The better things in life cost money. fools think otherwise.

Fragment Sixty Eight Point 9

terrified that you might lose me
petrified with the "you and me"
yes, the best things in life are free
and from you i want to be free

we add, we remove and we keep
promises at times we don't keep
on you, on us, i'm losing sleep
i'm done counting a herd of sheep

Can'T Say Goodbye

What a wonderful way to fall
Knowing there's only one to call
One day i will my fulfill my role
Trying to fill in a deep dark hole
I fear that the end is near
To conquer the fear
All that i wanted to be
They say the best things in life are free
Left with nothing to say
I can't say goodbye to yesterday

Just Because

Climbing up the mountain
Just because you can
Does not make it right
Nor does it mean you win
Chasing that neon rainbow
May not be very smart
But neither is it true
For those chasing down the dough
The best things in life are free
Or so I have always been told
And to be brutally honest
This is definitely true for me.

Treasure

Material things really mean nothing to me

I always believed the best things in life are free

The fresh air we breathe, the greens trees we see

The love that is shared between you and me

I may not be as rich as Mr. Bill Gates

But I am sure blessed by the fates

I have the woman who gives my heart pleasure

And that is the world’s most important treasure

Free

The Best things in Life are Free.
A feeling of the first kiss when butterflies enter your stomach.
Knowing a writer inspired a positive movement with her poetry.
Knowing that I am loved and other artists are enamored by my work.
The Best things in Life are Free.
When God shines his light upon you and faith is offered, and trust is built.
When Peace and enlightenment is granted.
The Best things in Life are Free.

Kindness Costs Nothing Miracle Man 10/30/2024 I’ve Found It’s true, “The best things in life are free” Not free stuff, but a prayer, a smile, a hug, or perhaps a kind word directed my way. An offer of help when I’m facing difficulty, whether needed/wanted or not. For after all, the thought also counts, and shows me that others care. Start today with a smile, and be kind to others. Tom

Read All About It

I peddled papers that cost just a dime
In my baskets that rode on balloon tires so fine
Made some tips, about four of five bucks
birds spread the news too, so do all the ducks
do you think that they are in the choir
they entertain you for free and not for hire.
going to the ball game cost you a days pay
innings are long, food is bad, so you don’t stay
where can you go and become amused
best things in life are free, and a dime for the news

Premium Member Looking Through My Eyes

Open up your eyes and you will see
That the best things in life are free
Rabbits that play in the velvet grass
The bird that in the sky flies past
The stars that twinkle in the sky
Those big black swans that pass me by
The sun that shines so high above
All radiate creators love
So much beauty that brings me joy
A friendly smile from an infant boy
Or from a gorgeous little girl
Even the sight of a gem or pearl
I could not live without all this
So much in life fills me with bliss
